Back at Al's Christmas Tree Farm in search of our 2010 yuletide Douglas Fir! With snow in the bush, and Charlie old enough to carry the saws, he had his eyes fixed on a the tallest tree on the property. Meanwhile Gracie was examining the "Charlie Brown" trees, perhaps staking her claim to our 2015 tree!
Anyways we soon found the one we were after and Charlie & Daddy brought it down. Timber!
With Charlie and the tree fixed to the cartop - we were ready for the journey home.
Well the tree fit into our living room - with little room to spare. As it waited for Mommy's touch.Over the course of a week, Mommy transformed that tree from just a tree, to a glorious wondrous symbol of Christmas! We were so glad that we were allowed to place some of our favourite decorations on the bottom boughs. And with the tree lights on, we were ready for Christmas. Happy Birthday Jesus.
